Flora Muijzer
Flora Muijzer is a dedicated Dutch physiotherapist with 13 years of experience helping individuals achieve optimal health and flexibility. Guided by her motto “prevention is better than cure,” she combines a holistic approach with Western, science-based treatment methods.

Flora specializes in treating orthopedic issues and spinal conditions, such as back and neck pain, headaches, and musculoskeletal complaints. Her expertise lies in addressing the root cause of these problems to achieve lasting results. In addition, she focuses on sports performance, with a special interest in endurance and strength sports. She supports both recreational and professional athletes in recovering from injuries and improving their performance.

Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients — from world-class athletes to everyday individuals striving to stay active and pain-free. My experience includes treating a Chinese Olympic windsurfer, drivers from the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia, and professional dancers from the Netherlands Dance Theater (NDT) and Dutch National Ballet Academy.

I spent nearly three years living and working in Shanghai, where I was part of a premium physiotherapy and sports performance clinic, collaborating with top-level professionals and international clients. This experience deeply shaped my global, high-standard approach to care.

While I enjoy working with athletes, my core specialization lies in spinal health — particularly neck and back pain, headaches, and postural issues. I treat many people who aren’t athletes at all, but simply want to move better, reduce chronic discomfort, and live a more comfortable, active life.

I’ve also supported countless amateur athletes in injury recovery and performance improvement. Over the years, I’ve worked with expats from all over the world, and my true passion lies in helping individuals — regardless of age or background — build strength, resilience, and long-term well-being.
